The beauty of the weather in the Asir Region is evident during the period of the summer monsoon blowing, when the temperature drops and the cool air breezes blow, so the region is covered with a green garment, wrapped in a collar of fog from time to time, adding a kind of wonderful embrace between the whiteness and greenness of the embracing trees, and the water springs and natural waterfalls come to life, issuing a roar and a flow accompanied by a chirp.

Perhaps what distinguishes the Asir Region, in addition to the picturesque nature, is the beautiful countryside with all its customs, traditions, markets, resorts, and daily rituals, including the wedding seasons that still carry the scent of the past in a beautiful guise of authenticity.

What draws attention while roaming within its governorates are the ancient villages that sit on the peaks and slopes of the mountains, declaring to the present their splendor in the past.

The largest of these parks is the Asir National Park, which is considered a natural reserve that contains many plants and trees that characterize the region and numbers of well-known birds and animals that Asir is famous for, including species that were threatened with extinction, and this was taken into account in the design of its facilities. Environmental customs and traditions.

Also, most municipalities have intended to create models in their work areas as they have important aesthetic and decorative value, and although the shapes of these models differ from one city to another and one location to another, they are, as a result, creative works of art with an attractive and amazing meaning, and aim to develop the general aesthetic and artistic sense.

They are also compatible with the prevailing Islamic and social values because they are inspired by Saudi moral and cultural concepts, and the modern vision is mixed with traditional heritage approaches so that they are consistent with the existing architectural and construction formations in the country. Fountains, waterfalls, and artificial lakes are widespread, and they are aesthetic formations that give souls comfort and tranquility.

This is what comes to mind when hearing the word Asir, but the slogans raised by Asir tourism, culturally and administratively in recent years, go away. I hear a lot about the hardship of the place, the cruelty of time, and the estrangement of man... In Asir today, what is more important than roads, parks, schools, electricity, and telephones.

There are personal traits that Asir bears and it presents itself to occupy a prominent place on the map of the nation’s tourism and the culture of the nation.

The tourist or visitor to Asir today does not deal with a silent tree and stone, but rather finds the spirit that is missing in many cities, “the spirit of hospitality, generosity, tolerance, and familiarity.” Rather, full awareness of the importance of tourism activity and its role in construction and development.

This is why the first slogan (Welcome, Thousand) came. Embodying the hospitality and good reception of all the people of Asir, it became a beautiful welcome that honestly expresses the reality of my life. Is there anything more beautiful than a thousand welcomes? Rather, it is hundreds of welcomes in one welcome.

After this nice slogan, Asir raised its new slogan, which depicts, with all sincerity, the stage it has reached in its three-fold growth process (tourism - culture - management).
